On behalf of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church family, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ. Throughout history God has called individuals and groups to carry out His purpose of redeeming the world back to Himself. God is about community , and he uses local church congregations to reach lost souls. For the past 143 years God has allowed Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church to be a part of His great work.
For 143 years God has truly brought Mount Zion through many trials and tribulations. For 143 years Mount Zion has stood on the hill serving God’s people. For 143 years Mount Zion has worked to save lost souls. For 143 years Mount Zion has been a place of refuge in a time of trouble. The Bible says that God will never leave you, nor forsake you; and for 143 years God has kept His promise.
Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church recognizes that the people are the church, and Mount Zion members, family, and friends have worked tirelessly for 143 years to carry out God’s mission. In looking back over the church history, God has done great things through this church. We give Him all the Glory, Honor and Praises. Now, as Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church looks toward the future, we will continue to stand on the Word of God, continue to proclaim the Word of God, and continue to be a refuge for all in need. It is my prayer that God will continue to bless the Mount Zion family. It is my prayer that by the grace of God we will have another 143 years of preaching, teaching and serving God.
